This course focuses on three critical areas of responsibility for contract managers. Firstly, it addresses the crucial task of managing contractor performance, which involves measuring performance against deliverables or key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve contract objectives successfully. Secondly, it covers the complex aspects of contract negotiation and drafting, which are closely intertwined topics. Lastly, it tackles the challenges that arise when things go wrong, such as claims for compensation, damages, early termination, and the potential disputes that may follow.
At the conclusion of the course, there will be a summary of the key learning points. This will be followed by an action planning exercise, which aims to facilitate the immediate application of the newly acquired knowledge and skills upon returning to work. Additionally, post-course support will be available for up to six (6) months after course completion to assist participants in implementing their action plans effectively.
