Access to Higher Education (HE) diplomas offers a fast-track opportunity for adults without traditional qualifications, such as A Levels, to prepare for university-level studies. Recognized by UK universities and colleges, this diploma equips you not only with academic knowledge in your chosen subjects but also with essential study skills to excel in your university journey.
In this specific pathway, you will delve into History, English Literature, and Sociology, alongside a compulsory Study Skills course. You’ll have the advantage of attending tutorials and regular one-to-one sessions with your personal tutor.
To secure a place on this sought-after course, it’s recommended to apply between November 2023 and June 2024, as interviews commence in February.
Financial Assistance:
Various financial support options are available to aid your educational pursuits. If you are aged 19 or above, you may qualify for an Advanced Learner Loan, which can help cover your Access course tuition fees. This loan could be written off if you progress to complete a Higher Education qualification. For more details or to check your eligibility, contact our Learner Futures Centre at 01223 226315 or email financialsupport@camre.ac.uk.
